Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Augusto Ribeirões Digital (“ConceptLab,” “we,” “us,” “our”), a company registered in Brazil and the operator of ConceptLab and the Outlier Community. By purchasing, accessing, or using ConceptLab, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use the product.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to purchase ConceptLab. If you are between 13 and the age of majority, you may only use ConceptLab with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

2. What You’re Purchasing

ConceptLab consists of two distinct components, sold under different terms.

2.1 Course content (the Lab)

Upon purchase, you receive lifetime access to the ConceptLab video lessons, including the 5-day Outlier Creation Formula curriculum and all bonus lessons listed on the sales page at the time of your purchase, plus any future lesson updates we add to the same curriculum. This is a one-time inclusion — it is not billed on a recurring basis and does not expire, cancel, or require renewal, for as long as ConceptLab and its hosting platform remain operational.

2.2 Outlier Community (Discord subscription)

Access to the Outlier Community — including monthly Challenges, live monthly meetups, peer interaction, and personal feedback and review from Augusto Ribeirões — is billed as a recurring subscription in U.S. Dollars (USD), charged automatically to the payment method you provide at checkout. Two billing cycles are offered: the Artist Plan, billed monthly, and the Outlier Plan, billed once a year at a discount. Both renew automatically until cancelled.

3. Pricing, Billing and Automatic Renewal

• The current subscription price is displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.
• Your Outlier Community subscription renews automatically on the same calendar date as your original purchase — every month on the Artist Plan, every 12 months on the Outlier Plan — and you will be charged the then-current subscription price for your cycle, until you cancel.
• If we change the subscription price, we will notify you by email up to 7 days before the new price takes effect. Continuing your subscription after that notice constitutes acceptance of the new price; you may cancel before the change takes effect if you do not agree.
• All charges are processed by our payment processor, Hotmart, and are subject to Hotmart’s own payment terms in addition to these Terms.
• There is no minimum-term commitment on either plan. You may cancel at any time as described in Section 4. On the Outlier Plan, the price you paid is held for the full 12-month cycle even if the list price changes.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your Outlier Community subscription at any time, effective at the end of your current paid billing period. Cancelling does not entitle you to a prorated refund for the remainder of the current period, except as provided under the Refund Policy in Section 5.

How to cancel. You can cancel using either method below, at no cost, and without being required to contact customer support if you use the self-service option.

• Self-service: log into your Hotmart account, go to Purchases, then Subscriptions, select ConceptLab / Outlier Community, and choose Cancel Subscription.
• By email: send a cancellation request to support@augustoribeiroes.com. We will confirm your cancellation within up to 1 business day, and no further charges will be made after your current billing period ends.

Cancelling your Outlier Community subscription does not affect your lifetime access to the Lab course content described in Section 2.1. Only access to the active Discord community, future monthly Challenges, and live meetups ends at the close of your current billing cycle.

5. Refund Policy

Every ConceptLab purchase is covered by a 15-day money-back guarantee, starting from the date of your original purchase.

• Within that 15-day window, you may request a full refund, no questions asked, by emailing support@augustoribeiroes.com.
• Approved refunds are processed within 2 to 5 business days, in accordance with the processing timeframes of our payment platform, Hotmart, and funds are returned to your original payment method.
• After the 15-day window has passed, purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. This does not affect your ability to cancel future subscription renewals at any time under Section 4.
• The 15-day guarantee applies once per customer or household. We reserve the right to deny refund requests that show a pattern of abuse, such as repeated purchase-and-refund cycles.

6. Access and Account Responsibilities

• Access credentials are personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for keeping your login information and Discord account secure.
• Sharing your account, reselling access, or distributing course materials outside the platform is prohibited and may result in immediate termination of access without refund.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or of the Outlier Community conduct guidelines, at our reasonable discretion.

7. Intellectual Property

All course content, videos, lesson materials, briefs, and the Outlier Creation Formula methodology are the intellectual property of Augusto Ribeirões Digital and are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial educational use only. You retain full ownership and copyright of the original artwork you create while following the course. You may use your own work freely in your personal portfolio, on ArtStation, social media, or for commercial client work.

You may not copy, reproduce, resell, or redistribute ConceptLab lesson content, briefs, or curriculum materials without our prior written permission.

8. Community Conduct

The Outlier Community on Discord is a shared space. By joining, you agree to the following.

• Treat other members and staff with respect. Harassment, hate speech, or discriminatory conduct will result in removal.
• Do not post content that infringes on the intellectual property of others, including presenting another artist’s work as your own.
• Do not share NSFW, illegal, or off-topic content unrelated to concept art and the community’s purpose.

We reserve the right to remove members from the Community, without refund of the current billing period, for serious or repeated violations.

9. Disclaimers

ConceptLab is an educational product. We do not guarantee specific results, including job placement, income, client work, or portfolio outcomes. Your results depend on your own effort, practice, and market conditions. Any income or career examples referenced in our marketing, including student results, are individual examples, not typical or guaranteed outcomes.

The course, community, and all related content are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Augusto Ribeirões Digital shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of ConceptLab. Our total liability for any claim related to your purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or a notice on the platform up to 7 days before taking effect. Continued use of ConceptLab after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, where Augusto Ribeirões Digital is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction of residence. For example, if you reside in the United States or the European Union, certain local consumer protection rules may still apply to your purchase regardless of this governing-law clause.
